Qualified in 1980, Gerald Kean has built one of Dublin's most recognised legal practices from the ground up. Born in Cork, educated at UCD, and apprenticed on Capel Street, he opened his own practice in the late 1980s. Over four decades he has represented Jim Kerr, Simon Le Bon, Ronan Keating, Premier League footballers, politicians, and thousands of ordinary Dubliners.
In 2019 he was awarded €160,000 in High Court damages after successfully suing the Irish Daily Star for defamation, a case that demonstrated the same tenacity he brings to every client matter.
